Flyer “Empowerment”Tri-County GLAD will host a Community Education Workshop about “Empowerment.”  What is “Empowerment” and what is “Self Advocacy?” Find out the importance of knowing your resources and learn how to be assertive. Presented by TC GLAD Advocate Christina Montero (hearing) and ILRC Advocate Ken McLellan (deaf), with deaf community members George “Skippy” Mangum and John Ames.  This workshop will be interactive with the deaf, hard of hearing and hearing community.  After the presentation, there will be time for all your questions and discussions.
