WRAD is happy to present a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Skiing and Snowboarding Day at Mountain High Winter Resort in Wrightwood, California on Saturday March 6, 2010 from 8am until 5pm. Meet at Mountain High West between 8 and 10am to purchase group ski lift tickets at the WRAD table inside the cafeteria at Mt. High West. Look for the WRAD banner and signing hands to find us. Special group ski lift tickets are $35 per person for adults and $25 for a child 12 years old and under. This is a BIG savings as a GROUP so please show up between 8am and 10am to buy and get your lift tickets from us. Regular ski lift prices are $47 per person so you save $ 12 per person to buy through the WRAD discount rate.We will have a GROUP picture at 12:30pm outside the cafeteria area of Mountain High West.Both Bertalan Horvath and Michael Maricnko Jr are the WRAD Coordinators for the Deaf Awareness Day at Mtn High on Saturday March 6th. In case of bad weather ( snow or rain) it is cancelled.The Mtn High website is www.mthigh.com so check the weather report there before you go to Wrightwood.You can bring your skis or snowboards. There are special rental rates: $ 30 for a snowboard ( boots and board) and ski rental (skis, boots, and pole) is $25 for adults and $18 ski rental for a child 12 and under.
